Azerbaijan and Belgium finished second and third
The final day of the Euro Beach Soccer League – Division B played out in Andalucía, Lithuania, finishing top of Division B.
Belgium wins 4-1 in penalties after a 2-2 draw against England.
England and Belgium delivered a thrilling encounter that ended in a dramatic penalty shootout. England struck first late in the opening period when Day capitalised on a goalkeeper’s throw with a clean shot that beat the Belgian keeper, giving England a slim 1–0 lead to close the first period.
England extended their advantage early in the second period with a moment of brilliance. O’Rourke executed a spectacular header, and Henderson quickly followed up to finish it off, doubling England’s lead to 2–0 and putting them in control.
However, Belgium responded with determination in the final period. Just three minutes in, Depotbeker pulled one back with a powerful finish. Moments later, he completed his brace with a superb looping effort over the English goalkeeper to bring the score level to 2–2. With the deadlock holding through the remainder of regular time and extra time, the match proceeded to penalties. Belgium held their nerve in the shootout, converting four of their spot-kicks, while England could only manage one. The Belgian comeback sealed a 4–1 win on penalties.

In a dramatic finale to Division B, Lithuania claimed a hard-fought 4–3 extra-time victory over Azerbaijan to secure the top spot. The match opened with a late strike in the first period from Makutunovičius, giving Lithuania a narrow lead. However, Orkhan responded almost immediately for Azerbaijan, levelling the score at 1–1 before the break.
A tense second period produced no goals, as both teams cancelled each other out in midfield and defence.
The match burst back into life in the final three minutes of the third period. Navickas put Lithuania back in front, only for Orkhan to bag his second of the match, forcing extra time with the score tied at 2–2.
In the added period, Giedraitis edged Lithuania ahead once more, and Makutunovičius converted from the spot to complete his brace and extend the lead to 4–2. Orkhan answered again with a clinical header to notch his hat-trick and bring Azerbaijan within one, but time ran out as Lithuania held firm for a thrilling 4–3 win. The result sees Lithuania finish top of Division B.
