The different competitions all over the world brought on an overall total of 796 matches at the highest international level.
In those games, 6858 goals were scored, confirming that beach soccer is all about goals! Out of those, 5973 were scored by men, with Gori (120 goals), Leo Martins (69 goals) and Stankovic (66 goals) topping the top scorers chart.
In turn, 895 were scored by our women’s stars, with Sarah Kempson (20), Carol González (19) and Alba Mellado (18) standing as the top scorers of the whole year.
Once again, TV coverage has been a key player in the distribution of beach soccer all around the world, as 328,75 hours of Full HD action were broadcasted worldwide. But not only that, as the amount of matches broadcasted online adds 38326 minutes of streaming.
