Special action fills stadium with smiles

The Beach Soccer Foundation and the Hungarian FA hold a beach soccer clinic before the EBSL Siófok

Before the ball starts flying at the Euro Beach Soccer League this weekend, the Hungarian Beach Soccer stadium by the Bálaton Lake hosted a very special event this morning.

The Beach Soccer Foundation and the Hungarian Football Association held a beach soccer clinic with two local associations of developmental disabled children: Magyar Máltai Szeretetszolgálat and Ments-Vár Alapítvány, with the participation of many players from the National teams participating in this coming EBSL event.

The boys and girls of these associations could enjoy the sensations of beach soccer, the feel of the ball and the sand on their bare feet, and were also taught some movements by the beach soccer stars.

Wolf Adam, from the Magyar Máltai Szeretetszolgálat, highlighted the great time the participants had with this clinic, explaining: “They really enjoyed the activity, and we want to say thank you to Beach Soccer Worldwide and the organisation for having had such a great time!”

In turn, Támas Szentes-Biro, one of the Hungarian internationals who took part in the activity, wanted to stress the importance of what beach soccer can bring to these boys and girls.

“I think it is a great idea, and it is good for beach soccer, as it shows how it can give these boys and girls the opportunity to enjoy on the sand, play together, strengthen their relationship. It is a great initiative,” he commented.

We are all beach soccer!
