GD Alfarim and Real Münster to play the Euro Winners Challenge 2025 final

Portuguese and German powerhouses clash for the title in Nazaré


Two semi-finals were played to decide the two Euro Winners Challenge 2025 finalists.

Semi-finals
GD Alfarim win 4-3 Cevennes Meridionales on penalties, after a 4-4 draw.
The first semifinal delivered a thrilling contest as GD Alfarim edged past Cevennes Meridionales on penalties. Cevennes took an early edge with a late goal from Laurent in the first period.

In the second period, Alfarim responded with two goals. João struck early before André added another with just three minutes remaining. Raoul levelled the score for Cevennes just before the period ended, making it 2–2 heading into the final frame.

André continued his impressive form, scoring twice early in the third period to put Alfarim ahead. However, Lapouge pulled one back for Cevennes, and an unfortunate own goal by Alfarim brought the match level at 4–4. With no winner emerging from extra time, the tie was settled in a tense penalty shootout. GD Alfarim held their nerve to win 4–3 and book their place in the final.

Real Münster win 6-2 against Vila Flor SC.
Real Münster delivered a strong performance in the second semifinal, overcoming Vila Flor SC with a convincing 6–2 victory to secure their spot in the final.

Karolak opened the scoring in the first period, giving Münster a narrow 1–0 lead. Leo Martins added to the tally late in the second period, but quick responses from Fábio and Luca brought Vila Flor back into the game, levelling the score at 2–2 heading into the final frame.

Münster took control early in the third period, as Karolak struck again just a minute after the restart. Leo Martins added two more to complete his hat-trick, while Jordan also got on the scoresheet to round off a dominant final period and a comprehensive 6–2 win.

5th-8th play-offs
AO Kefallinia win 4-3 against Mouilleron, after extra time.
The only goal recorded in the first period came from Billet, giving Mouilleron a 1-0 lead going into the second period.

Launay doubled the tally for Mouilleron, but Karakasis responded for Kefallinia to reduce the deficit. Billet struck again two minutes before the end of the period to restore their two-goal cushion.

In a spirited comeback, Katsoulis netted twice in the final period to level the match and force extra time. Karakasis then found the winner, sealing a dramatic 4-3 victory for AO Kefallinia.

Torrejón win 5-3 against Naxos BS.
The match started with Mendes putting Naxos on the scoreboard early. However, Torrejón responded swiftly through goals from Castano, Luisito, and Itu. A late goal by Perez reduced the deficit to 3–2 by the end of the first period.

Lea extended Torrejón’s lead in the second period, putting Naxos under pressure with a two-goal deficit going into the final frame.

Luisito struck again in the third period to give Torrejón a comfortable cushion. Perez managed to pull one back for Naxos with his second goal of the game, but the Spanish side held firm to seal a well-earned 5–3 win.
