Brazil reedits Copa Encarnación

In their third and fourth clashes against Paraguay, the Brazilian players confirm Negão has a lot of talent at his disposal

Brazil extended their winning mood in Paraguay this last weekend. The South American kings beat the hosts again to claim the III edition of the Copa Ciudad de Encarnación. On the decider on Sunday, the Verdeamarela prevailed 3-5, after having knocked the hosts on the penalty kick shootout on Saturday after a 4-4 draw.

Despite the Paraguayans stood still during the first stages of the game, even equalizing the Brazilian advantage, they could not finally keep up to the pace imposed by Junior Negãos side.

The goals by Dieguinho, Lucao (2),Boquinha and Eudim had the Verdeamarela reediting last year?s triumph on the sands of San José, as Barreto?s and Zayas? efforts were not enough to change things for the Guaraní.

Both teams will now fly in the next days to Merlo, where the big contest for one of the three tickets to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Tahiti 2013  takes place.
