A 7-5 win in the final against Rosario Central have the Bonaerenses prevailing in the first National Championship organized by AFA
CA Acassuso became the champions of the Torneo Apertura 2019, first ever National Beach Soccer Championship officially organized by AFA. The game, held at Huracan’s premises La Quemita, was a contested battle all throughout, and only two goals ended up making the difference.
Despite CA Rosario Central, who had got to the final as the best team in the standings, stepped ahead in two occasions, Acassuso knew how to react, with Lucas Medero equalizing the first deficit and turned things around to command the game 3-2 through Marino and Sirico.
After that, both sides kept exchanging strokes, until Acassuso opened the gap, going from 4-4 to 7-4 thanks to the goals by Hilaire, Leandro Marino and Manu Bordón.
The “Canallas” pulled one back, but that was not enough to change the course of the game, and Acassuso prevailed as the first champion of the year in Argentina.
The Argentinean sides get now ready to take part at the Torneo Clausura 2019. The winner will face CA Acassuso for a place at the Copa Libertadores 2019.
