The charity game took place in Miami on 20 November involving participants from the worlds of fashion, TV and sports
The Celebrity Beach Soccer Match returned this past weekend after the forced hiatus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Celebrities including boxer Floyd Mayweather, actor Cuba Gooding Jr, MMA fighter Ulysses Diaz, model Jen Selter, footballers Franky Raggio – (Inter Miami FC), Luca Antonelli (Miami FC) and Marcel Mahouve (Former Cameroon International), as well as baseball star Johny Damon amongst many others, took part in the event, supporting the Miami Beach Education Foundation. National Beach Soccer League (NBSL) was also an active part of the organization of this event.
Some US Beach Soccer National Teams players, like Esteban Sapetnitzky, Nico Perea and Connor Rezende plus the National Team Coach, Francis Farberoff, as well as former internationals Ben Astorga, Oscar Gil and Aldo Balsano were also involved in the star-studded fundraising event, which also included a activities for children with disabilities.
Over the weekend, the Celebrity Soccer Match also featured games of youth and adults with disabilities, alongside the ones played by the professional athletes and celebrities, as well as games for young children.
