Group A
Germany win 6-3 against England.
Group A action got underway on matchday 3 with Germany facing England.
The teams were level at the first interval at 2-2 as Baasch and Olli struck for Germany and Clarke and Jackson found the back of the net for England.
The second period belonged to Germany, striking three times in the period without a response from their opponents with goals courtesy of Engelhardt, Peterson and a second of the match from Olli.
Both sides scored in the final 12 minutes of the match as Olli completed his hat-trick and Lawson pulled another goal back for England, with Germany securing their place in the 3rd/4th place match on the final day.
UAE win 6-5 against Saudi Arabia.
Hosts Saudi Arabia took to the sand for their final group stage match against UAE.
UAE had a flying start to the match as Humaid, Ali and A.Abbas ensured their nation were 3-0 up after 12 minutes.
Eslam scored a brace in the second period, bringing Saudi Arabia only one goal away from their opponents, but UAE took the two-goal advantage before the period came to a close as Ahmed Beshr fired home.
Five goals were scored in the third period as despite goals from Qasem, Khalid and Waleed for Saudi Arabia, UAE held on to secure victory as Waleed Beshr and Ali found the net.
A vital win for UAE who booked their spot in the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup 2024 final.
Group B
Japan win 9-0 against China.
Group B action on day three stared with a match between Japan and China, with both teams looking for their first victories
Goals from Tbsuboya, Furusato, Oba and Ota put the Japanese team in firm control in the first period as they found themselves 5-0 up after 12 minutes.
Oba scored his second goal of the match in the second period, which would be the only goal of the period as Japan had a six-goal advantage over their opponents with 12 minutes to play.
Japan concluded the match with a 9-0 victory in the end, as Oba completed his hat-trick and Ozu, Furusato and Tsuboya hit the back of the net.
Brazil win 9-1 against Spain.
In the match to decide the finalists from Group B, Brazil took on Spain.
Brazil were 5-0 up after 12 minutes in the match as Rodrigo netted a brace and Datinha, Filipe and Thanger scored.
The Brazilians remained lethal in front of goal in the second period with Thanger finding his second of the match an Giovane and Antonio struck.
Spain pulled a goal back in the final period through David Ardil, as Brendo scored Brazil’s ninth goal of the evening to help his side secure a final spot.
