Brazil win 5-4 against Ukraine.
The first women’s match of the day saw Ukraine and Brazil compete in a vital match which would decide who would play in the final against Spain.
It was the Ukrainian side who had the lead by the end of the first period as despite a goal from Lelê for the Brazilians, a Dani Barboza own goal and a strike from Kostiuk meant the score sat at 2-1 after 12 minutes.
Silvana and Bárbara put the Brazilians ahead in the second period, but Ukrainian goalkeeper Terekh levelled up the scoring late in the period.
Skybina put Ukraine ahead early in the third period, before a Dani Barboza brace secured Brazil’s victory and a place in the final.
Spain win 4-1 against England.
The second Women’s NEOM Beach Soccer Cup 2024 match of the day saw Spain take on England.
Following a goalless first period, it was Spain who took a lead into the third period as Natalia Cuadrado netted a brace.
Fisher pulled a goal back for the English side in the third period, but the Spaniards put the match to bed as Jessi and Paqui Campoy ensured their nation take maximum points from the group stage.
