Canada BSC took on US international players in Florida over the weekend
The US national team coach, Francis Farberoff, is working hard ahead of the Emirates Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup, as his national team players played friendlies against Canada BSC.
The Canadians competed at the 2022 World Winners Cup in Cagliari, Italy, and performed well in their official debut, taking two wins and only losing narrowly against some of the world’s best beach soccer clubs and players.
Three international friendlies were held at the weekend in Hollywood Beach, Florida, with the USA’s NBSL winning two of the matches, and Canada BSC claiming the other.
The Canadians are currently in the process of growing their program and forming an official national team, with a goal of competing in the next Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
