Astounding victory for Kebbi BS
Kebbi BS concluded their group stages with 15-1 triumph over BS Vion. Filipov scored six times in the match for the Nigerian side, as Usman and Hassan scored hat-tricks.
ASD Napoli finish strong
ASD Napoli won 2-1 against Copenhagen BSC as the result meant that they finished first in Group A, whilst their opponents finished second. Goals from Alejandro and Lucao ensured the Italian side finished on nine points.
Group B
Real Münster masterclass
Real Münster ended their group stage fixtures with a bang, as they came out 13-2 winners against Naxos BS. Swiss international, Hodel scored five goals in the encounter, whilst Körner found four. The victory took the German team up to six points in Group B.
Dominance from Dalian
Dalian won 7-0 against FC Genappe, as Group B came to a close. Rodrigo became top scorer in the match, as he netted four on the day, with 10 goals in the competition so far. The victory for the Chinese club confirmed a first place finish in the group, with nine points.
Group C
Back to back wins for Falfala KQ BSC
Falfala KQ BSC were 6-2 victors over Canada BSC, increasing their points tally to six in Group C. Catarino scored a brace, as Moreb, Dmais, Jabaren, and Moad also hit the target for the Israeli team.
Catania FC end the group stage in superb fashion
Catania FC brought their group stage journey to a close in Alghero, winning 14-1 against Casa Benfica Viseu. The victory firmly sealed their place at the top of Group C with nine points, as Falfala KQ BSC’s win gave them second place in the group.
Group D
Joselito leads Newteam Brussels to first win
Newteam Brussels won 6-5 against Riga FC in Group D, as Joselito scored four goals for the Belgian side and Groust Alves and Santos scored the remainder of their goals to register their first win of the World Winners Cup.
Nine points for Recreativo Huelva
Recreative Huelva defeated Napoli Patron BSC 3-2 as the Spanish team increased their points tally to nine points in first place, whilst the Greek side took second in the group. Kuman, Camacho and Brian found the net for winning side, as they advance on maximum points.
Group E
Marseille BT win as Varrel steals the show
Marseille BT faced Bologna BS in a Group E encounter. The french side won the match 11-4 as Varrel scored five times in the fixture, whilst Drouillet and Boucenna netted braces and Artuphel found the other, signaling a first victory for the team based in France.
Mazzarón finish top
After both teams had maximum points, the match between BSC Vybor and Mazarrón played their final group stage matches against one another, with the winner topping Group E. The Ukrainian team had the advantage first period in the tie, but Suli Batis equalised in the period to leave the scores level after 12 minutes played. After this, the Spanish team remained in front for the remainder of the match scoring five more goals to win 6-2 and place top of Group E.
Group F
A pleasant end to the group stages for Pafos FC
Pafos FC took on Cali BSC in Group F and it was the Cypriot outfit who came out on top in the match, beating the American team 6-2. Andrade and Alisson netted braces for the winning side, as Jordan and Charalambous found the two other goals for Pafos FC. A first win for the team based in Cyprus.
BSC Artur Music win Group F
In the match to decide the winners of Group F at the World Winners Cup, BSC Artur Music won the encounter against Barra de Santiago 3-2. Andersson opened the scoring for the Salvadoran side, before Lystopad brought the match back on level terms for the Ukrainian team. BSC Artur Music took the lead in the second period, with goals coming from Levchenko and Potapov and despite Andersson completing his brace, the Ukrainian side held on for the remainder of the match to win Group F.
