BSC VIT make it through
In the first match of the day at the Estádio do Viveiro – Jordan Santos, BSC VIT defeated Pafos FC 7-3 .

Top scorer, Edson Hulk found the net early on and Miguel Junior netted a brace, but the Ukranian side took over, as a brace from both Voitok and Raphael helped their side to victory, as they advance to the next stage of the Euro Winners Cup 2023.

Recreativo Huelva move on
Spanish side, Recreativo Huelva progressed into the round of 14 after defeating Latvian team, Riga FC 4-3 in extra time.

The teams were level after the first period at 1-1, but a vital hat-trick was scored by Gerlan in the remainder of the match was the difference for the Spaniards to knock out the second place finishers in Group D and qualify as one of the final 14 teams in the competition.

Levante UD qualify in style
Levante UD became the second Spanish team to qualify for the knock out stages, as they beat Moldovan side, BSC Nistru 6-2.

Level pegging after the first 12 minutes had been played, Levante UD had a strong second period and scored four fantastic goals to give them some breathing room against BSC Nistru.

They killed off the match in final period, with Suli Batis securing his brace for the day.

A strong performance from Viareggio BS ensures qualification
Viareggio BS put in an extremely impressive performance in a 9-0 victory over Napoli Patron BSC.

Ozu scored a hat-trick in the match, as their Greek opponents failed to hit the target against them. The Italian side demonstrated a great level of consistency throughout, scoring three in each of the periods in a crucial win.

Falfala KQ BSC win four in a row
A round of 28 match between Falfala KQ BSC and Naxos BS ended in a victory the Israeli side over the Italian team 5-3, as they extended their winning streak in the tournament.

A double from Moreb assisted the team hailing from Israel in getting the victory in Nazaré, as the Italian squad tried the best throughout to turn the game around, but couldn’t out score their opponents. 

ATLAS A.O. advance despite a close knock out affair
ATLAS A.O. find themselves in the next round of the Euro Winners Cup 2023, after winning 6-5 against New Team BS Brussels.

All six goals for the Greek side came from three braces scored in a row, courtesy of  Tsitsaris, Antonio and Venardos. The Belgians put up a good fight, as Javi Torres found his name on the scoresheet twice, but it wasn’t enough for them to proceed in the tournament.

A narrow victory for CD Marbella 
CD Marbella faced Rostocker Robben in their first knockout match, as they came out 4-3 victors to take one of the 14 available spots left in the competition.

After finding themselves behind in the match, the Spanish side flipped the game on its head as five different goal scorers helped them to book their spot.

BSC Artur Music slam home eight
Ukranian side, BSC Artur Music recorded yet another victory at the Euro Winners Cup 2023, after winning 8-1 against Nomme Olybet. 

It was a fantastic day for Voitenko, as he managed to hit the back of the net four times for his team, scoring two in the second period and two in the third as they won the game very comfortably to move onwards.

The round of 14 awaits for Real Münster
Real Münster joined the list of the final 14 teams as they got past Bohemians 1905 from Czechia, with the scoreline ending 4-2.

It took until the second period for the Germans to break the deadlock in Nazaré, as all four of their goals in the match were scored in this time frame through Edu, Metzler, Catarino and Beqiri netted the crucial goals. 

Portuguese side, Varzim made sure of their place in the next round after beating Belgian side, ES Brainoise by six goals to two.

Varzim’s goals were split evenly between the three period, with six different players getting involved on the scoreline. Depotbecker scored his brace in the match for the Belgians to increase his tally for tournament, which panned out to be his side’s only goals of the day, as Real Münster will advance at least one step further in this year’s competition.

The Martins brothers shine, as SC Braga progress with their biggest win yet
The fans at the Estádio do Viveiro – Jordan Santos were given an absolute treat as they witnessed SC Braga win with their most amount of goals scored in this tournament, coming out 14-2 winners over AS Etaples.

Both Léo and Bê Martins found themselves on the scoresheet multiple times in the fixture, with Leó scoring a massive five and Bê securing a brace.

An exceptional performance from SC Braga, just the performance they would’ve been looking for as they look to almost emulate last year’s tournament, but go one step further.

Lenergy Pisa BS knock out MFC Spartak
Lenergy Pisa BS found themselves advancing into the final 14 sides in the Euro Winners Cup as they beat MFC Spartak 5-2.

The Italian side were 2-1 up after the first period with goals from Ortolini and Ste Marinai, as they found another three goals in the last two periods from Simo Marinai, Cami and a second from Ortolini to win the match by three goals in the end.

ACD O Sótão thrive with local support
Local team, ACD O Sótão made the home towns support count in the round of 28, as the secured the win to move on to the next phase of the competition, defeating fellow Portuguese nationals, CD Nacional.

BSWW Ambassador Coimbra scored twice in the match for ACD O Sótão, as well as Pinhal from his opposition finding his brace too.

The local people will get to see ACD O Sótão in action at least one more time in this tournament before it comes to its inevitable conclusion.

Marseille BT make it a step further
A narrow 3-2 win over fellow French side, Grande Motte PBS has sent Marseille into the next round of the Euro Winners Cup.

The side based in Marseille left it late to make their way into the match, scoring three times in the final period to secure victory. Goals from Gharbi, Santos Dias and Tremoulet book their team’s spot in the final 14.

With Minots de Marseille winning the Euro Winners challenge, they will face the winner of the round of 14 fixture between Falfala KQ BSC and Real Münster in the quarter-finals.
