Switzerland secure Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League Andalucía 2026 title

Portugal and Spain to contest men’s final


Switzerland have claimed the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League Andalucía 2026 title with one game still to play, capping a dominant campaign that secured an unassailable lead at the top of the standings. Portugal have confirmed their place in tomorrow’s men’s final against hosts Spain, while also sealing qualification for the Superfinal in Viareggio 2026. Türkiye and Czechia will meet in the relegation playoff in Viareggio this September, while Poland retain their top-flight status in Division A after a strong performance, overpowering Türkiye to secure survival.

MEN
Playoffs 5th-8th place
Poland win 6-0 against Türkiye

Poland made a strong start against Türkiye, with Pietrasiak and Niesler finding the net early and late in the opening period to hand their side a comfortable 2–0 advantage, while Türkiye struggled to settle into the game.

Kosmal added a third goal for Poland in the second period as the Polish side continued to dominate proceedings. Türkiye remained unable to break through and find a response.

In the final period, Błaszczyk, Pietrasiak’s second of the match, and Mańka all got on the scoresheet to complete a dominant 6–0 victory for Poland and secure their place in Division A of the Euro Beach Soccer League for 2027.

Lithuania win 7-4 against Czechia
Lithuania took lead in the opening period as Plytnikas converted a long-range spot kick in the last two minutes, while Czechia struggled to find a breakthrough before the first break.

Kliukoit doubled Lithuania’s advantage early in the second period, but Pekárek responded immediately for Czechia. Lithuania regained control midway through the period with goals from Makutunovičius and Činikas to open a 4–1 lead, before Šilhavý’s brilliant strike reduced the deficit to 4–2 heading into the final period.

Andy sparked hopes of a Czechia comeback with an early goal at the restart, but Lithuania quickly responded through Giedraitis and Makutunovičius’s second of the game. Trampota found the net for Czechia, though Giedraitis sealed an impressive 7–4 victory for the Lithuanian side.

Semi-finals
Portugal win 9-4 against Switzerland
Portugal dominated the opening period as Coimbra, Brilhante, Tim, and Bê Martins all found the net to hand the Portuguese side a commanding 4–0 lead, while Switzerland struggled to settle into the contest.

Leo Martins extended Portugal’s advantage early in the second period before Borer and Hodel finally put Switzerland on the scoresheet. Bê Martins added another midway through the period to restore Portugal’s four-goal cushion, while Borer grabbed his second for Switzerland. Leo Martins’ brace ensured Portugal remained firmly in control at 7–3 heading into the final period.

Switzerland managed only one more goal in the final period through Knöpfli, as Pola and Leo Martins added further goals to complete an emphatic 9–4 victory for Portugal.

Spain win 6-4 against Belarus
Drozd opened the scoring for Belarus in the third minute of the opening period, but Chiky Ardil responded quickly for Spain to level the contest. Hapon restored Belarus’s lead late in the period, only for Brian to equalise again and leave the score tied at 2–2 heading into the first break.

Kanstantsinau put Belarus ahead once more early in the second period, but Spain responded strongly through Brian and Chiky Ardil, whose goals handed the hosts a narrow 4–3 advantage heading into the final period.

Brian completed his hat-trick in the third period to extend Spain’s lead to 5–3. Novikau pulled one back for Belarus to keep the contest alive, but Domingo sealed a hard-fought 6–4 victory for the Spanish side in front of the home crowd.

WOMEN
Switzerland win 4-0 against Ukraine
Switzerland made a strong start in the opening period against Ukraine, with Flury converting from a long throw delivered by her goalkeeper to open the scoring. Inderwildi then capitalised on a defensive error to double the advantage, giving the Swiss side a 2-0 lead.

The second period saw Switzerland extend their control of the match, with Schenk converting a long-range spot kick midway through to make it 3-0. Ukraine struggled to break down a disciplined Swiss side, who maintained their defensive structure throughout.

In the third period, Eisenegger punished another Ukrainian defensive lapse to add a fourth and seal a comprehensive 4-0 victory. The win confirmed Switzerland’s dominance in the competition, as they secured a third straight win and maximum points from their matches.

Spain win 5-2 against England
Spain overturned an early deficit to secure a strong victory over England after a competitive opening period. Barron gave England the lead and they held firm defensively to frustrate Spain throughout much of the first period.

England extended their advantage early in the second period through Bloomfield, but Spain responded strongly as Jessi and Andrea Mirón struck to level the match at 2-2 heading into the final period.

The third period belonged entirely to Spain, who produced a decisive attacking surge with goals from Lia, Carol Glez, and Natalia. Their late dominance completed a convincing 5-2 comeback victory over England.
