The Euro Beach Soccer League Andalucía El Puerto de Santa María 2026 celebrated one of the most inspiring moments of the week with the 4th Spanish Championship of Regional Teams in Beach Soccer for Athletes with Intellectual Functional Diversity, reaffirming that beach soccer is a sport for everyone.
Teams representing different autonomous communities came together at the Plaza de Toros de El Puerto de Santa María to showcase not only their talent on the sand, but also the values of inclusion, participation and respect that continue to drive the growth of the sport.

Throughout the competition, players, coaches, families and supporters created an atmosphere filled with joy, emotion and camaraderie, demonstrating the power of beach soccer to bring people together and break down barriers. Every match celebrated teamwork, determination and shared experiences, with the emphasis extending far beyond the final score.

The championship provided participants with an unforgettable opportunity to compete in the same venue that hosted Europe’s top national teams during the Euro Beach Soccer League, highlighting the importance of ensuring that everyone has the chance to enjoy and experience the sport at the highest level.

A particularly special moment came during the awards ceremony, when players and coaching staff from Spain’s men’s and women’s national beach soccer teams joined the celebrations to present the medals and trophy to the participants. Their presence created unforgettable memories for the athletes, providing an inspiring connection between elite international players and those demonstrating that passion for beach soccer knows no barriers.

By hosting initiatives such as this alongside elite international competition, the Euro Beach Soccer League Andalucía El Puerto de Santa María 2026 once again demonstrated that it is much more than a sporting event. Combining world-class beach soccer with grassroots and inclusive activities reflects the sport’s growing social impact and its ability to unite communities through positive values.

The success of the championship further underlined the importance of investing in inclusive sport and creating opportunities for participation for all, helping build a future in which beach soccer continues to grow both on and off the sand.
Beach Soccer Worldwide and The Beach Soccer Foundation would like to thank the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF), the Real Federación Andaluza de Fútbol (RFAF), all participating teams, coaches, volunteers, institutions and families for their invaluable contribution to making this championship possible and for helping create a week in which beach soccer, inclusion and community came together.
