The Lions of Teranga jump into fifth while La Roja remain top of the women’s ranking
The Official World Rankings have been updated for November, as the African champions Senegal leap up the table to claim fifth, while Spain keep hold of the women’s national team topspot.
Senegal’s impressive performance at their first-ever Intercontinental Cup in Dubai was enough for them to move up by three places, overtaking European beach soccer powerhouses, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
They now sit in fifth, which is their highest-ever position.
Spain stay solid at the top of the table as the official women’s ranking is updated for November, and behind them are Russia in second, followed by England in third and then Brazil who still sit in fourth.
