Three matchdays of the German Beach Soccer Championships have been played so far and the two-time Euro Winners Cup semi-finalists, Real Münster, are on top.
Hot on the heels of the leaders are Beach Royals Düsseldorf, who also have nine points out of nine, but a goal difference of eight compared to Real Münster’s 14.
Rostocker Robben, Bavaria Beach Bazis and FC Versandkostenfrei make up third, fourth and fifth, all on six points having won two and lost one match.
SandBall Leipzig won one match in extra time for two points, while Hertha BSC and Golden Goalers Korbach are yet to pick up victories.
The two leading sides also claim the two top scorers for the time being. Real Münster’s Joscha Metzler and Olli Romrig of Beach Royals Düsseldorf are currently tied at the top of the scoring charts with eight goals each.
There are ten clubs taking part in the 2022 German league, and each has played three times so far. There will be a break in the league for the Euro Winners Cup (the European club championships) which will begin in Nazaré, Portugal, next week.
