Clubs from all over the world are ready to contend the second edition of the competition
The World Winners Cup 2022 begins tomorrow!
Teams from across the globe have gathered on the Italian island of Sardinia to contend the second edition of the World Winners Cup.
A draw held on Saturday sorted the men’s teams into groups, while the women will play in a single group.
Matchday 1 kicks off at 9:15 local time, and will see German league runners-up, Real Münster take on Japanese club Lazo Apego, a match that will feature Portuguese international twins, Bê and Leo Martins, German duo Metzler and Nowak (known on social media as VolleyPass, as well as Japanese international, and Bronze Scorer at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, Takuya Akaguma.
Lazo Apego’s women will play directly after, while the runners-up of the last edition, Lady Grembach, will take on local side, FBA BS.
