Napoli BS to Face Falfala KQ BS for the World Winners Cup Title!

Defending champions Falfala KQ BS and Napoli BS would decide the World Winners Cup 2025 title in Sicily


The semi-finals delivered drama and intense play. Napoli BS edged TMS FC, and Falfala KQ BS shut out Marseille BT to confirm their places in the final. Meanwhile, playoffs across the table continued, as teams battled for their finishing positions.

Semi-final
Napoli BS win 4-3 against TMS FC
TMS FC struck first through Leonardo’s powerful strike, before Bernardo levelled late in the opening period for Napoli BS. Breno quickly restored TMS’s advantage, but Antonio responded almost immediately to send the game into the first break at 2-2.

In the second period, Paterniti fired Napoli ahead for the first time, only for Breno to equalise once more, ensuring the sides were locked at 3-3 heading into the decisive final frame.

Midway through the third period, Bernardo found the net again to complete his brace and secure a dramatic 4-3 victory for Napoli BS, booking their place in the final.

Falfala KQ BS win 2-0 against Marseille BT 
The opening period saw both sides showing strong defensive form, and neither team was able to break the deadlock as the period ended goalless.

In the second frame, Jabareen capitalised on a defensive lapse to put Falfala KQ BS in front, giving his side a crucial advantage in a tight contest.

Thanger doubled the lead in the third period, and Falfala’s defence stood firm against Marseille’s late pressure to seal a 2-0 victory and book their place in the final alongside Napoli BS.

9th/10th place 

Barra de Santiago win 3-0 in penalties against Arabi SC after a 6-6 draw
Arabi SC took the early lead, breaking the deadlock late in the first period through Hajeyah. Barra de Santiago responded emphatically in the second, with Perez netting twice alongside goals from Urbina and Arana. Arabi SC hit back through Hajeyah’s second, Ryan’s double and Gean, swinging the score to 5-4 in their favour by the end of the period.

The drama continued in the final period as Castro levelled 5-5 for Barra de Santiago, and forced extra time. Ryan completed his hat-trick to restore Arabi’s lead. Just when it looked settled, Fuentes struck in the dying moments to make it 6-6.

With no breakthrough in added minutes, penalties decided the contest. Barra de Santiago were flawless from the spot, converting all three, while Arabi SC faltered. The Salvadorian side sealed a 3-0 shootout win to claim 9th place.

17th/18th Place
BS Mijas Costa win 5-4 against Canada BSC

BS Mijas Costa and Canada BSC delivered an end-to-end opening period, with Jose giving Mijas Costa the early lead before Akol equalised. Kike struck soon after to restore the advantage, only for Xristidis to level again. Just before the break, Lucas fired in to make it 3-2 for Mijas Costa.

The second period continued in the same fashion, with Lucas doubling his tally to extend the lead. Akol responded with his second goal of the match to keep Canada BSC within touching distance at 4-3 heading into the final phase.

In the last period, Juanmita’s finish gave Mijas Costa a crucial cushion, and although Navas pulled one back late on, it wasn’t enough. BS Mijas Costa held on to claim a tight 5-4 victory and secure 17th place in the competition.

15th/16th place
Cevennes Meridionales win 8-5 against Rostocker Robben 

The game began with three goals in the opening period. Orpel struck first for Rostocker Robben, before Diagne equalised for Cevennes Meridionales. Baaske restored Rostocker Robben’s advantage, giving them a 2-1 lead at the first break.

Delamontagne pulled Cevennes level in the second period, but Kaufmann’s strike ensured Rostocker Robben entered the final period with a slender 3-2 advantage.

Cevennes turned on the style in the last period, first benefiting from an own goal to equalise 3-3, before surging ahead with five goals from Monod, Judan, Laurent and two more from Diagne. Despite late efforts from Knöpfli, Rostocker Robben could not keep pace, as Cevennes Meridionales ran out 8-5 winners to secure 15th place.

19th/20th place
Catania BS win 4-3 against Bonyhád BFC
Bonyhád BFC started strongly in the opening period, with Adorján and Kornel finding the net to give their side a 2-0 lead. Catania BS struggled early but stayed in the contest heading into the break.

The Italians struck back in the second period through Lucas and La Torre, levelling the game at 2-2 as momentum began to swing in their favour.

Bence restored the lead for Bonyhád BFC in the final period, but late strikes from Caltabiano and De Baptistis turned the game around. Catania BS held firm to seal a narrow 4-3 victory and claim 19th place.

13th/14th place
Napoli Patron BSC win 5-4 against Pafos BSC in extra time
Pafos BSC began brightly in the opening period, with Henrique and Michael finding the net to establish a 2-1 lead, as only Ramy could respond for Napoli Patron BSC.

Ramy struck again just two minutes into the second period to level at 2-2, but Henriques quickly restored Pafos’ advantage. In the final Period, Pachev extended the Cypriot side’s lead to 4-2, yet Ramy completed his hat-trick, and an own goal brought Napoli back on level terms at 4-4, forcing extra time.

The decisive moment came in the additional period when Ramy found the net once more, sealing his fourth goal of the match and a dramatic 5-4 victory for Napoli Patron BSC, who finished in 13th place.

11th/12th place
BSC Vybir win 5-1 against Casa Benfica Viseu
In the opening period, the game remained goalless until the fifth minute, when Nuno struck to give Casa Benfica Viseu the lead. BSC Vybir responded immediately through Din and Dukov, turning the score around to 2-1 by the end of the opening period.

Voitenko added to the tally in the second frame, before Gin netted twice to stretch Vybir’s advantage to 5-1. Casa Benfica Viseu struggled to find a response as BSC Vybir took full control of the game.

With no further goals in the final period, BSC Vybir held firm defensively to see out a comfortable 5-1 victory and claim 11th place.
