The top-flight club competition will be held at a new indoor venue in the Russia capital: the CSKA Arena
Edition number eight of the Mundialito de Clubes is set for a grand return – and we don’t have long to wait at all!
A brand-new location in Moscow will host the global club competition, where the biggest names in beach soccer will clash on Russian sands between 27 and 30 October 2021.
This will be the third time the Mundialito de Clubes has been held in Moscow, a city which has proved countless times that it is the ideal place to stage an international beach soccer event of the highest calibre.
The new venue will be CSKA Arena, where a thrilling indoor spectacle will entertain crowds of fans, adhering of course to the restrictions and advice of the government and local health authorities.
Following the success of the RFU national team at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup just over a week ago, Russia is alive with the beach soccer buzz, and the event guarantees to give the fans more of the sport they love so much.
The previous edition of the flagship beach soccer club event, back in February 2020, was the very last one before normal life was dramatically put on hold by the Covid-19 pandemic, making the return of one of the most anticipated events in the calendar a long-awaited and very special one.
Portuguese giants SC Braga are the current champions after winning the 2019 and 2020 editions, but the previous winners include local club Lokomotiv Moscow (2 titles), Barcelona (ESP), Corinthians (BRA) and Vasco da Gama (BRA).
The final list of teams will be confirmed closer to the time of the event but as usual the line-up promises to include big-name badges of global importance.
Keep an eye on the BSWW website and social media channels for more information, which will be released soon.
