All three teams are tied on points but BSLA currently top the table on goal difference
The second day of the Los Angeles Beach Soccer League will be played this Saturday (13 February) as the three competing sides battle to break the deadlock.
Each side will play twice on Matchday 2, and Beach Soccer LA and SoCal Beaches will kick the action off at 10am local time. BSLA then take on Beach Soccer LA at 11am, and the day will be rounded of by SoCal Beaches v BSLA.
The opening matchday of the first ever Women’s Beach Soccer League in the United States was played on 16 January in Huntington Beach, California, and each game was close, decided by just one goal.
So far, all three teams have played two matches and are tied on three points after winning a game each in normal time, but BSLA are just ahead on goal difference going into Matchday 2.
The league features many players from the USA National Team such as: Melissa Lowder, Christi Yount, Lauren Leslie and Bethany Haynes, as well as Luisa Meza and Ali Hall, who currently leads the Top Scorer chart with three goals.
The event will be spread over three days over as many months: 16 January, 13 February, and 13 March (playoffs) and all matches will be recorded and uploaded on the Beach Soccer LA YouTube channel at the end of each match day.
