A brand-new beach soccer youth tournament gets under way on the Catalan coast at 9am
Torredembarra, on the stunning shores of the Mediterranean Sea, plays host to a brand-new youth tournament, the Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup.
The event in named after the Spanish beach soccer legend and previous World’s Best Player, Llorenç Gomez, who is organising the tournament alongside Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Council of Torredembarra.
Six teams will take place in the opening edition, which will be played from Friday 15 to Sunday 16 April.
The participating teams are:
– Futsal T
– Roses U18 A
– Ros U18 B
The opening match will begin at 9am on Friday, where Roses U18 A will take on Ros U18 B.
This event is another big step forward in terms of giving a platform for the next generation of international beach soccer stars.
