Most of these names came down to the sand again in an unforgettable beach soccer morning last weekend in Vitoria (Brazil), in the framework of the Campeonato Sul-Americano de Beach Soccer.
The likes of Junior, Nenem, Claudio Adão, Edinho, Benjamin, or Junior Negão, amongst others, lined up again in a friendly game against a selection of former Uruguay beach soccer players.
Adão (3), Edinho, Neném and Benjamin had the job done for the Verdeamarela, making Miguel’s effort for the Celeste fruitless.
Brazil won the game 6-1, and the beach soccer on display was bright. The legends showed that they have not lost a bit of their magic and treated the crowded stands with some pretty exquisite moves.
