The final of the 11th edition of the French league took place on Sunday 17 July
They defeated AS Étaples by five goals to one in the final, which took place on Sunday 17 July at the Plaine des Sports in Châteauroux.
La Grande-Motte PBS featured many players from the French national team, including Victor Angeletti, Anthony Barbotti (cap.), Stéphane Belhomme and Sébastien Huck, as well as Moroccan captain, Nassim El Hadaoui.
They had enjoyed a perfect undefeated journey in the final phase, with wins over ASM Le Taillan (4-3), USIB Vaux-sur-Blaise (10-2), Beach Team Cévennes Méridionales (13-0) and Marseille Beach Team (8-3).
It was the fifth national league trophy that the club has won in the 11-year history of the competition, with the last title coming in 2019.
