France and Morocco to compete for the Casablanca Beach Soccer Cup title

The second day of action in Morocco took place as teams continue to secure valuable points…

France win 4-2 against Belgium.
The first match of the second day day of the Casablanca Beach Soccer Cup 2024 saw France, who won their opening day fixture, face Tanzania, who looked to secure their first points at the competition.

Jérémy gave the French side the advantage in the fixture with less than six minutes to play in the opening period, as France took a 1-0 lead into the first interval.


Belgium found the leveller early into the second period through Enya, as Anthony and Salim both struck to restore France’s advantage with one period to play.

Salazar gave France some breathing space at the start of the third period, as Enya secured his brace for the Belgians, however, France held on for their second win of the tournament.

Morocco win 4-0 against Tanzania.
Hosts Morocco looked to claim victory once again on home soil as they took on Tanzania.

It was a first period to remember for the Moroccans in the opening period of the encounter. Goals from El Kraichly, Zouhair and El Abassi to give their nation a 3-0 lead after 12 minutes played in Casablanca.


Zahraoui scored the final goal of the fixture to complete Morocco’s 4-0 victory over Tanzania and put themselves level on points with France with one game to play.
