The hosts took home the trophy after defeating France on the final day

On the final day of action in Casablanca, Morocco, a match between Morocco and France would decide who would become the champions in this year’s edition of the Casablanca Beach Soccer Cup…

Belgium win 4-3 on penalties against Tanzania, after a 6-6 draw in the match.
The opening match from the third day of action in Morocco saw Tanzania and Belgium take to the sand in a fixture which would see the winners finish in third place in the competition.

Romain broke the deadlock in the match to give the Belgian team the advantage, as Nazzor hit back for Tanzania with just 12 seconds to play in the opening period. However, the scoring didn’t stop there in the first period as Dorian regained Belgiums lead with seven seconds remaining.

Despite trailing after the first 12 minutes, the Tanzanian team found the net twice in the second period with goals from Salum and Sultan to give their side the lead for the first time in the match. The teams did go into the second interval level as Enya scored Belgium’s third.

Dorian had a wonderful third period on the Casablanca sands as he fired home a hat-trick to take his goal scoring tally up to four in the match. However, Tanzania also found the back of the net on three occasions in the third and final period as Jaruph secured a brace and Nassor struck for his nation, meaning the match headed to extra-time.

Following a goalless additional period, the match was settled on penalties as Belgium came out victorious in the shootout to claim their first win of the tournament and take third place.

Morocco win 5-4 against France.
The final match of the competition saw hosts Morocco take on France as both sides knew a win would be a enough to take home the title.

It was an action-packed first period in the crucial match with seven goals scored between the two in the opening 12 minutes. France scored first in the encounter through Jérémy, but it was Morocco who led by the end of the period as El Bidouri, Oubahri, Driss, and El Kraichly all found the net to give the host nation a 4-3 advantage, with Salim and Constant also netting for the French side.

Both teams failed to ripple the back of the opposition net in the second period, as one goal separated the teams heading into the third period.

The equaliser did come for the French team as Constant scored his second of the day with less than seven minutes to go in the match, but Zahraoui’s strike secured the title for the hosts minutes later as Morocco became the Casablanca Beach Soccer Cup 2024 champions.
