Euro Nationscup Linz 2015 is back again

Austria will be hosting the Czech Republic, Norway and Slovakia for the gem of an event

The hosts are happy to announce that the event will be officially taking place on the 18th and 19th of July in Linz, Austria. The event has gathered some of the most recognizable teams in Europe to compete in this prestigious tournament. The teams include the hosts, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Norway. The four National Selections will battle in a semi-finals and final format, with the sides playing in an elimination match on the opening day, creating the most dramatic final day possible, a win-it-all finale, leaving no doubt as to who is the champion.

All of the teams are training for the Euro Beach Soccer League season and will be attempting to reach FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup glory the following year. The World Cup is taking place over the course of 11 days, from the 9th-19th of July, but the FIFA Beach Soccer Bahamas 2017 – European Qualifier will take place next year, in 2016, so the preparation has already begun for the teams that did not qualify for the Portugal edition this year. In last seasons’ Euro Nationscup Linz 2014, it was Germany who came out on top, defeating the hosts 6-5 in the final. The Czech Republic managed a third place finish, edging out Slovakia 4-3. With three of the four teams returning it will be even more exciting to see who the victors will be.

Norway may be the rookie in this event, but they have a solid beach soccer squad that can really surprise the other Cup veterans. The action will begin in just over a week and all four of the teams, along with local teams playing as part of all of the festivities, are more than prepared for this battle for first.
