Group A
Estonia win 5-4 against Germany, after extra-time.
Group A action saw Germany face Estonia, as both teams looked to build on their points tallies.

In a thrilling encounter which saw Estonia overcome Germany in extra-time began with a swift exchange of goals, as Germany’s Peterson and Estonia’s Lilleorg scored successively, leveling the game at 1-1 in the first period. Germany gained momentum in the second period, with Kaufmann and Munksind’ own goal, as he later redeemed himself with a goal for Estonia, but still trailing 2-3 behind Germany at end of second period.


The third period saw Estonia storm back, with Lepik and Nõmmiko scoring to take the lead. However, Germany’s Sand equalised, sending the match into extra time. In a heart-stopping finish, Alaväli scored seconds before the end of extra time, securing a hard-fought victory for Estonia.

The match full of dramatic twists and turns, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination. Estonia’s comeback and eventual win demonstrated their resilience, while Germany’s efforts fell just short.

Spain win 4-1 against Italy.
Spain secured a convincing victory over Italy in a game that got off to a chaotic start with an own goal by Spain and two yellow card events, one for each team, recorded in the first period.


Italy with a 1-0 lead, Spain regrouped and levelled the score midway through the second period, courtesy of a goal from Kuman. The Spanish team then took control of the game in the third period, with Ardil scoring his second goal of the game, followed by strikes from Suli Batis and Jose Arias. Italy was unable to respond, conceding victory to Spain.

The victory marks a significant win for Spain, who overcame a rocky start in the match and secured all three points.

Group B
Belarus win 6-3 against France.
The first Group B match of the day from Group B saw Belarus and France go toe-to-toe.

Belarus dominated France in a thrilling match that saw the Belarusians struck early, with Bokach goal and Bryshtsel doubling their lead midway into the first period. France’s Vernhet narrowed the gap to 2-1 just before the end of the period, but Belarus pulled away in the second period with goals from Chaikouski, Hardzetski, and Drozd, making it 5-1.


France attempted a comeback in the third period, with Constant and Salim scoring early and midway through, respectively. However, Belarus sealed their victory with Drozd’s second goal of the match, struck just as the final whistle blew.

The match saw Belarus’ attacking trio of Drozd, Chaikouski, and Hardzetski shine, while France’s efforts were unable to overcome the deficit.

Switzerland win 6-4 against Moldova, after extra-time.
It took until the final minute of the opening period for the deadlock to be broken in Alghero as Moldova’s Graur turned the ball into his own net to grant Switzerland the advantage.

Turta’s strike early in the second period level the game, but the team received two additional yellow cards and a red card for Popescu, hindering their momentum.


Florea’s goal a minute into the third period put Moldova ahead, but Switzerland’s Knöpfli and Ott’s brace shifted the tide to 4:2 lead. However, two late goals by Moldova’s Ciobotaru and Graur sent the match into extra time. But Hodel’s brace to seal the win for Switzerland as they walked away with two points.

The highly intense match saw two red carded events and ten yellow cards in between the two teams.

Group C
Czechia win 2-1 against Denmark.
Czechia edged out Denmark in a tight contest. The Czechs drew first blood midway through the first period, courtesy of Pekarek’s goal. Denmark struggled to find their footing until Madsen’s equaliser in the second period, levelling the score at 1-1.


However, Czechia’s Trampota struck early in the third period, securing a crucial lead for his team. Despite Denmark’s efforts to mount a comeback, Czechia’s defence held strong, earning them a hard-fought slim victory.

The match was marked by a total of eight carded events, including a red card issued to Denmark’s Damm, highlighting the intense rivalry between the two teams.

Portugal win 6-4 against Poland.
Portugal secured a thrilling victory over Poland in a highly entertaining match. The game got off to a flying start, with Poland’s Brochocki opening the scoring in the first period, followed by Pietrasiak’s strike to take a 2:0 lead. However, Portugal turned the tables, with Algarvio, Jordan, and Pintado all finding the net to give them a 3-2 lead at the end of the first period.

Portugal’s Jordan scored his second and third goals of the game in the second and third periods, respectively, putting them in control. Be Martins added a sixth goal for Portugal in the final moments of the third period, rendering Niesler’s late strike for Poland less helpful, as Portugal took victory.
