Deadlock broken in California as SoCal pull ahead

The Beaches hit 12 on Matchday 2 to go top LA Beach Soccer League

Ahead of Matchday 2 of the LA Beach Soccer League, all three participating clubs were tied on three points but SoCal shot to the top of the group with two decisive wins over the weekend. 

Saturday 13 February saw SoCal Beaches see off Beach Soccer LA with a comfortable 4-1 win in the day’s first match, taking their points tally to six.

Then the LA side played again, taking on BSLA, where they went level on points with SoCal who had beaten them earlier.

In the day’s final game BSLA suffered their second defeat as SoCal scored an impressive eight goals to shoot straight back to the top of the standings and steaming ahead in the goal difference chart too.

Ali Hall remains top of the Top Scorer chart after taking her tally to five.

Only one day remains of the league, when the play-offs will be played on 13 March. All matches will be recorded and uploaded on the Beach Soccer LA YouTube channel.
