The hosts won twice to rack up a goal difference of 16 on the first day of matches
Local side Torredembarra won two games emphatically to sit top of the standings after Day 1 of the Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup.
Each side played twice on Friday in the Spanish coastal town, and the local strikers dominated the scoring, with Marc Font and Eloi Rovira netting five each for CFP Torredembarra, helping the club to the top of the table.
Level on points, but one position below on goal difference, sit Roses A, who also won both of their games.
Escuela RA10 and Futsal Torre each won once to claim three points, while Roses B and
CFP Tarragona make up fifth and sixth place going into Day 2.
The Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup will take place in Torredembarra on the Mediterranean coast between 15 and 17 April.
The event is named after the Spanish beach soccer legend and previous World’s Best Player, Llorenç Gomez, who is organising the tournament alongside Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Council of Torredembarra.
