Catania BS and Falfala KQ BSC to decide the Euro Winners Cup title

The semi-finals of the Euro Winners Cup took place on Saturday in Nazaré to determine who would qualify to compete for the 2025 title.

Semi-finals
Catania BS win 7–2 against BSC TSOR.
Gordetski opened the scoring for BSC TSOR midway through the first period, but Josep Jr. equalised for Catania BS shortly after, ending the opening period at 1–1.

Catania BS took control in the second period as Thanger netted a brace, and Alisson added another to push the score to 4–1.

In the final period, Josep Jr. found the net for a second time, while Mauricinho and Ponzetti also added goals for Catania. Petrovsky managed a consolation for BSC TSOR, but the Italian side proved too strong and secured a dominant 7–2 victory.

Falfala KQ BSC win 7-3 against Marbella FP.
Five goals were recorded in the first period, with Falfala edging ahead 3-2, despite both sides conceding an own goal.

In the second period, Marbella conceded another own goal, followed by a strike from Rodrigo to extend Falfala’s lead. Gin pulled one back for Marbella before the end of the period, making it 5-3.

Eliott’s goal and Rodrigo’s second sealed a convincing 7-3 victory for Falfala KQ BSC.

Playoffs 5th-8th place
Rosh Haayin win 6–5 against BSC Sunrise Kyiv.
The match remained goalless until late in the first period, when Bernardo scored for Sunrise Kyiv. Elihay quickly responded to level the game 1–1 going into the second period.

Nerush struck twice in the second period, but goals from Bê Martins, Ifrach, and Elihay’s second gave Rosh Haayin a 4–3 lead.

Maksymets equalised just two minutes into the final period, but Ifrach completed his brace almost immediately to restore the lead. Eini then doubled the advantage for Rosh Haayin. Pedrinho pulled one back for Sunrise Kyiv, but time ran out as Rosh Haayin secured a thrilling 6–5 victory.

Marseille BT win 6–4 against Lenergy Pisa BS.
Ott found the net twice in the first period for Lenergy Pisa BS. Marseille BT managed to pull one back through Ousfane, trailing 2–1 at the break.

In the second period, Gori struck twice in quick succession, and Jordan added another to swing the lead in Marseille BT’s favour. Datinha replied with a brace to bring the score level at 4–4 heading into the final period.

Gori completed his hat-trick and added a fourth in the third period to seal a 6–4 victory for Marseille BT.
