Maksim Chuzhkov (RUS), Simone del Mestre (ITA) and Mão (BRA) are the three candidates for the award
The three players in the final shortlisted for the Best Goalkeeper of the year award have been just released.
Italian shot-stopper, Simone del Mestre, joins the list of nominees for the first time ever, and shares the honour with two old acquaintances, Mão from Brazil and Maksim Chuzhkov from Russia.
It will be third consecutive nomination for Brazilian goalkeeper, who, despite never having won the award, was included in 2017 in the Best 5 Stars, the dream lineup of the year.
In turn, Maksim Chuzhkov got the 2019 its second consecutive nomination, following last year’s, in which he saw Elinton Andrade, from Portugal, bag the award.
In turn, Simone del Mestre, from Italy, sees his excellent performance this year rewarded with his first ever nomination, and will hope to secure enough votes to prevail in the Beach Soccer Stars gala, to take place in Dubai on 9th of November.
The nominations for this award are a result of the votes by the captains and coaches of all the National Teams in the world.
