Best Women’s Player of the Year: The Nominees

Adriele (BRA), Carol (ESP) and Kempson (ENG) are in the running for the award this year

The three nominees for the Best Women’s Player of the year award have been announced: Adriele  Rocha, from Brazil, Carolina González, from Spain and Sarah Kempson, from England are the candidates to become the queen of beach soccer.

Adriele joins the list once again, following her nomination on the 2018 season. This year, Adriele has not only been a key player at club level, but also has been one of the main weapons in the Brazilian team’s conquest of the bronze medal at the World Beach Games.

In turn, it will be Carol’s first nomination. A wonderful season, in which she was also awarded as the MVP at the Euro Winners Cup, leading AIS Playas de San Javier to the trophy, and a solid World Beach Games and Euro Beach Soccer Cup campaigns have made her one of the most stand-out players of the season.

Sarah Kempson comes back to the nominations for Best Women’s Player of the Year after commanding Great Britain to the Silver Medal. The 2017 Best player in the World lost her crown to Marina Fedorova, and comes back this year to the fight to be the best once again. Will she succeed? We will find out on the 9th of November.
