The competition takes place between 16 and 26 March in Pattaya, Thailand.
The 16 teams participating in the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup discovered their opponents this morning in the draw held at the Asian Football Confederation House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Hosts Thailand will face Afghanistan in group A as well as 2005 champions Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, who recently faced each other at the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup 2022.
The United Arab Emirates and Iran, who both won the competition twice, will face each other again after their semi-finals clash at the Emirates Intercontinental Cup last November, in a group B that also has Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
Lebanon, China and Indonesia will be the opponents for defending champions and three-time winners Japan in group C.
2006 winners Oman will reencounter Palestine and Kuwait, who they met at the WAFF Beach Soccer Championship last May, as well as Kyrgyzstan in group D.
