Argentina return to training ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Coach Hernán Magrini’s main objective is a place at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup

The Argentine national beach soccer team return to training on Tuesday 9 March ahead of the 2021 season and, most importantly, the CONMEBOL Qualifier for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

The training sessions will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 8:30 am, at the AFA’s el Predio Julio Grondona, in Ezeiza.

Head coach, Hernán Magrini, named his list of 21 players (below) which will be reduced to 16 in the last period of preparation for the South American Qualifiers for the World Cup.

Argentina were the last side to defeat the imperious Brazil in a South American qualifier, back in 2015 in the group stages. Brazil went on to win the qualifier.

The 2021 World Championships will be the 11th edition of the FIFA tournament, and will be played from 19 to 29 August in Moscow, Russia.
