The city of San Salvador will be home to the second edition of the continental tournament
It’s official: the Americas Winners Cup wiil come back to El Salvador. After the success of the maiden edition, the competition that crowns the best club in the CONCACAF and CONMEBOL region will be once again played on Salvadoran soil.
The 2024 edition will move to the country’s capital, San Salvador. The stage for next year’s Americas Winners Cup will be the modern beach sports stadium located at the Complejo Deportivo Flor Blanca.
Like in this year’s edition, a men’s and a women’s tournament to take place.
Yamil Bukele, ad Honorem President of the Instituto Nacional de los Deportes de El Salvador, highlighted:
“It is a true honor for us to continue working hand in hand with Beach Soccer Worldwide in the development of beach soccer in the American continent. And that is why, with the greatest pleasure, we accept to host, once again, the Americas Winners Cup tournament.”
Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide, stated:
“We are very happy to return to El Salvador with this competition. As we could see in this first edition of the Americas Winners Cup, beach soccer is developing on club level and we hope that more teams from the whole American territory join us in El Salvador, a lovely country that is already an established beach soccer destination.”
