The Red Knights capture the six points at stake and bend current leader for an overall of 12 points
Two new exciting matchdays in the UAE National Beach Soccer League have shook the standings a bit, giving Al Ahli the chance to equalize Al Nasr records at the highest place of the table.
On Friday, the Portuguese Armada got thinks working pretty much for the Red Knights, bagging an overall five goals that merited the points for the defending champions over Al Nasr. Two hits by Jordan, two more by Belchior and another one by Madjer captured the three points for Al Ahli, thus balancing the records of the three teams at the top of the table of the UAE League, following Al Wasl’s hammering over Al Fujairah (1-12).
The day after, a new wib by Al Ahli, over Al Shabab, had the lads clinching three new points to stay at the highest place of the table. The first place, though, remains at Al Nasr’s hands, with a better goal average, who edged Al Wasl following a narrow 3-2 win.
The race for the top scorer is equally exciting, with Yemeni Saeed Saleh of Al Hamreya commanding the table with 11 hits, tightly followed by Spaniard Llorenç of Al Wasl, with 10, and Iranian Ahmadzadeh of Al Nasr, with 9.
