Final
Poland win 5-1 against Portugal.
Poland dominated the final match of the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal 2024 in Alghero, defeating Portugal 5-1. The Polish team came out strong, scoring three goals in the first period through Sudyk, Slowy, and Szpera. This early lead set the tone for the rest of the match.

Poland continued their momentum in the second period, with Matusiak scoring twice to extend their lead to 5-0. Portugal struggled to find their footing, unable to respond to Poland’s relentless attack, as their sole consolation came in the third period with Daniela’s effort, their only goal of the match.


Poland secured a convincing victory, marking a triumphant conclusion to Poland’s campaign, claiming the champion’s trophy.

3rd/4th place
Spain wins 2-1 against Italy.

Hosts Italy and Spain left everything on the pitch in a thrilling 3rd place match that saw the first period end goalless, but the deadlock was broken in the second period when Ferrazza opened the scoring for Italy. However, Spain quickly turned the tables, with Manau equalising just two minutes later.

Jessi scored the winner for Spain, securing a 2-1 lead that Italy couldn’t overcome. The match was a tightly contested affair, with both teams creating chances, but Spain’s clinical finishing proved decisive.

The match showed the determination of both teams, but Spain secured a hard-fought victory, going home with the bronze.

5th/6th place
Ukraine wins 3-2 against Czechia
Ukraine secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Czechia in the 5th-place match. The first goal of the match came through Ukraine’s Kostiuk in the first period, giving them a 1-0 lead. They went on to dominate the second period, with Klipachenko and Bavzeniuk finding the back of the net to extend their lead to 3-0.

Czechia pulled one back late in the second period courtesy of Kozarova’s strike, but Ukraine’s advantage remained significant. And despite Duchatschova’s goal for Czechia in the third period, Ukraine held on to their lead, securing a 3-2 win.

The match was marked by intense competition, but neither team received any caution events. Ukraine’s victory cemented their top 5 finish in the tournament, while Czechia settled for 6th.

7th/8th place
Switzerland wins 6-1 against England.
The clash for the 7th place saw Switzerland dominate the contest from start to finish. The Swiss took an early lead through Inderwildi’s goal in the first period, and Schenk doubled the advantage just before the break. Switzerland continued to press in the second period, with Bucher finding the net and the team receiving a yellow card.

The English struggled to mount a comeback, but Switzerland put the game out of reach in the third period with three goals from Schenk’s second goal of the match, Raselli and Williams, as the Swiss sealed a comfortable 6-1 victory.

England’s sole consolation came courtesy of Elouath’s late strike, but it was too little, too late. The win marked a strong finish for Switzerland in the tournament, while England will look to improve for future competitions.
