played this year in the 28 international top-flight international competitions organized or sanctioned by BSWW.

all over the World have hosted this season top-flight international beach soccer events, including countries in Asia, Europe, South America, CONCACAF region and Africa.

have been scored during the year. Besides being named the Best Player of the year in Dubai, Mauricinho (BRA) has also been the year’s top overall international scorer, with 54 goals in all the official competitions, followed by other beach soccer strikers such as Gori (ITA), Ott (SUI), Rodrigo (BRA) or Bryshtsel (BLR). Glafira Bazhanova (RUS) was the women’s top scorer of the year (13 goals), followed by WFC Zvezda’s Natalia Zaitseva (RUS)
190 teams
have taken part in the competitions, of which 26 were Women’s teams. Out of the 174 teams, there were 93 National teams (7 women’s) and 97 clubs (19 women’s).
