Beach Soccer in the UAE keeps making big steps. Not only considered one of the most Beach Soccer empowered regions in Asia, the sports is putting down strong roots in the country, with a new adventure taking off this same month: The UAE National Beach Soccer League. With the support and patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, Beach Soccer has found a extremely war home in the Asian resort, and the fruits of this passion are felt stronger year after year.
The League, starting on February 17th, will feature up to 14 teams who will play all along the country in three different venues. In this sense, the teams have been divided as per zones with Fujairah Club, Al Humriya Club (in the Sharjah region) and Al Mamzar Park (Dubai) hosting the matches.
The preliminary rounds will get all the teams in each venue facing each other in a round robin format, to see who the quarter-finalists are (Three from Dubai and Fujairah, and two from Sharjah). This last-eight round will take place in April, followed by the Semi-finals and the Final.

Sharjah region: (Playing at Al Humriya Club) Al Arabi Club; Ajman Club; Al Humriya Club
Dubai region: (Playing at Al Mamzar Park) Al Wasl Club; Al Nasr Club; Al Shabab Club; Dubai Club; Hatta Club; Al Ahli Club.
