The Lublin based side beat Hemako Sztutowo in the penalty kick shootout of the final, held at Lodz
The Sport Pub Rapid Lublin claimed this last weekend the Polish Beach Soccer Cup, held in Lodz, after edging Hemako Sztutowo. After the 1-1 at the end hard-fought game, the Lublin side edged Hemako at the penalty kick shootout, thus claiming their firet ever Cup honour.
Defending champions and National League winners Grembach Lodz, with Polish hero Boguslaw Saganowski ahead, were eliminated in the semifinals, and were not given the chance to defend their title in the final.
