The ninth edition of the national women’s championship drew to a close last week
Both the men’s and women’s national championships have now come to a close in Iran, with the latter title being claimed by Shahrdari Bandarabbas.
As well as boasting one of the world’s best national beach soccer teams, Iran also has a strong domestic setup with this year witnessing the ninth edition of the women’s competition.
After months of matches, it was Shahrdari Bandarabbas who came out on top, as they edged runners-up Chaynategh Lahijan to first place.
Farsan ensured a podium spot as they finished in third.
