El Salvador ends in second position of the Copa Pílsener after edging Spain in the last game in Costa del Sol
Paraguay confirmed today their amusing state of shape as they run past Costa Rica to make it nine points out of nine in the Copa Pílsener held in Costa del Sol (El Salvador). The Guaraní side, who mathematically sealed the trophy yesterday, did not ease off today and clearly beat the Costa Rican side, controlling the game in almost every moment.
After two goals in the first period and two more in the second left things 4-0, everything pointed to an easy Saturday afternoon for the Paraguayans. But Costa Rica managed to at least, pull a couple of goals back to try to stay in the fight. The Tico expectations did not last, though, as four more goals by the Albirroja in the last leg of the game restored the distance in the score.
That strong hit crushed the Costa Rican animosity, and sealed a new win for Paraguay, who keep offering great sensations and confirming all what they showed in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup CONMEBOL Qualifier held last month in Merlo (Argentina)

El Salvador clinch silver
The Salvadorian National Team and all their devoted supporters ended up this Copa Pilsener with a sweet taste in their mouth. Despite having not access to the cup, a victory over the European giants Spain merited the Cuscatlecos the second place in the competition.
The local hero Frank, named tournament?s MVP, began the party in the Costa del Sol really soon, sweeping his side ahead in the second minute of the game. Torres and Agustin followed the tracks to push the score to 3-0 amid a boisterous celebration.
The 3-goal rent was not enough, though, to believe the game was decided. Cintas and Llorenç had Spain fighting for the second place, but the Spaniard reaction fell one goal short. The Cuscatleco sat back strongly and managed to keep their nets safe the remaining time, thus securing the second place in the competition they have successfully hosted in the Costa del Sol.
Goals: 1-0: Frank, min. 10 (1); 2-0: Torres, min. 5 (1); 3-0: Agustín, min. 9 (2); 3-1: Cintas, min. 8 (2); 3-2: Llorenç, min. 9 (3);
