The Portuguese team won the U18 category while the Spanish lifted the trophy in the U16 tournament.
The Madjer Cup finished yesterday at the iconic sands of Figueira da Foz with two new champions in both categories.
The U18 trophy was lifted by ACD “O Sótão” who beat Sesimbra in the final with a thrilling 9-8 in the scoreboard.
Ramiro Amarelle Academy were crowned champions in the U16 tournament but they had to take the game to penalties after a 3-3 draw in regular time. In the shootout the Spanish won 3-2 to defeat last year’s champions.
The competition finished with the champions ceremony with beach soccer legend Madjer himself handing the trophies and the individual awards to the players
