The match schedule for the continent’s biggest beach soccer club showdown is now available

There is little over a week to go before the first of the teams start flooding to Nazaré in Portugal from all over Europe, ready to take part in the biggest beach soccer club competition on the continent.

This year, a new record for participation has been broken with 82 teams, from 25 different countries, set to take part across the three competitions being contested in Nazaré between the 30th of May and the 9th of June.

With much anticipation ahead of one of the greatest beach soccer events in the calendar, the match schedule can now be disclosed, and can be found on the Beach Soccer Worldwide website.

The Competitions

The Euro Winners Cup brings together the best teams from across Europe, in most cases the winners of their national beach soccer leagues, and sets them against each other to see who is the best of the best.

The current holders of the European crown are SC Braga (POR), who beat BSC Kristall (RUS) in the 2018 final.

The Euro Winners Challenge (previously known as the Nazaré Beach Soccer Cup) acts as an alternative route to Euro Winners Cup, for those teams that didn’t qualify through their national leagues. Eight teams (the group winners) will join the 36 already qualified for the Euro Winners Cup.

The Women’s Euro Winners Cup returns for it’s fourth edition and, like the men’s, has also seen participation increase, as WFC Zvezda (RUS) look to retain their hard-won crown for a second year running. But with 21 of Europe’s best women’s clubs seeking the same prize, victory will not be easy.
