All eight rosters are loaded with beach soccer talent and international players

There will not be shortage of beach soccer talent in the fast-approaching 2021 Mundialito de Clubes Moscow.

The squads for the competition have been revealed and guarantee a beach soccer spectacle of the highest level, with the best players in the world taking part in the event.

Hosts Spartak Moscow and Lokomotiv will be packed with FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2021 champions. National team captain Anton Shkarin, Ostap Fedorov and Andrey Kotenev will be on hand for Spartak Moscow, as Stanislav Kosharniy, Andrei Novikov, Boris Nikonorov, Denis Parkhomenko and Fedor Zemskov will fight for Lokomotiv.

Philip Borer, Bruno Xavier and Ze Lucas inject some foreign talent to Lokomotiv, whereas city rivals Spartak secured the likes of Swiss goalkeeper Eliott Mounoud, named Best Goalkeeper at the World Cup this summer, Brazilian goalscorer Edson Hulk and Iranian star Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, together with Belarus international Oleh Hapon.

Defending champions SC Braga retain a similar squad to the one that has served them so well in recent seasons, concentrating the core of the Portuguese national team, supercharged with Brazil stars Filipe, Lucão and Rafa Padilha.

Tokyo Verdy, in turn, have surprised with the signings of Brazilian stars Rodrigo and Datinha, plus Portugal’s goalkeeper Elinton Andrade, who will team up with a team full of Japanese internationals commanded by superstar Ozu.

As for Levante UD, they will head to Moscow banking on the experience of Spanish internationals such as Antonio, Dona and Pablo Pérez, plus the Brazilian magic brought by Dmais and Bernardo Botelho, that shape a solid squad that promises to pose tough competition.

Vasco da Gama, to nobody’s surprise, will touch down in Russia with a heavy load of Brazilian talent, including the likes of Mauricinho, Bokinha, Catarino and Benjamin Jr., together with Azzurri stars Emmanuelle Zurlo and Josep Jr, amongst others.

Newcomers Dinamo Minsk and Club Nacional also made sure they will have enough firepower to take on the beach soccer powerhouses they will encounter in Moscow, and their squads are studded with players from the Belarus and Paraguay national teams, with the Minsk club bolstering their squad with Iranian goalkeeper Peyman Hosseini, compatriot Moslem Mesigar and former Flamengo player, Brazilian Paulinho.
