The right to play the quarter-finals of the Men’s Euro Winners Cup 2023 will be discussed between Minots de Marseille and “O Sótão” B. In the semi-finals of the Euro Winners Challenge, both teams had to sweat to emerge victorious.

Thioune and Basquaise show the way
The french side managed to bounce back after finding themselves three goals behind in the second period, led by Thioune and Basquaise with a hat-trick each, as well as Diassy who scored a brace.
AD Buarcos relied once again on top goalscorer Francisco, who scored twice, to take the game to extra time with less than half a minute to finish, but the Portuguese team were unable to counter the three goals scored by Minots de Marseille who avoided the penalties shoot-out by winning 9-6.
Local derby decided on penalties
Plenty of drama to find out the other finalist of the Euro Winners Challenge: O Sótão B and AD Nazaré 2022 took it to penalties after a 3-3 draw in regular time. Pola gave O Sótão the lead but Nazaré 2022 turned the match around and went 3-1 up.
Pola would score his second with less than four minutes to play before Mota equalised. The team in red took all their chances from the penalty line, while Nazaré 2022 missed three penalties to fall in the semi-finals of the competition.
