A tight win over CA Ministry of Interior in the final match saw Hristov’s men lift the trophy
Four years and four trophies for MFC Spartak, who cruised through the Bulgarian beach soccer league to claim yet another title.
Simeon Hristov’s men made it four years at the top of club beach soccer in Bulgaria, after going unbeaten for the entire tournament, and eventually beating CA Ministry of Interior in a tight 4-3 match to clinch the title.
Prior to the final game, they had beaten fellow Superfinal sides, St. Nicholas (15-1) and FC Ruse (8-2).
The squad, made up in the main part of players from the Bulgarian national side, recorded a total of 10 wins in 10 games in the 2019 campaign, accumulating an impressive goal difference of 94-20.
As a result of their campaign of domination, MFC Spartak will, once more, be representing the nation at the Euro Winners Cup 2020 for the fourth year in a row.
How long can they keep this reign over Bulgarian beach soccer for?
