The new competition will take place in Torredembarra (Spain) and will feature U14 and U18 categories
A new competition has seen the light in the Beach Soccer calendar: The Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup. Named after the Spanish beach soccer legend, just retired from playing, this youth competition will feature teams from Spain and abroad competing in the U14 and U18 divisions, both men and women.
Between 14 and 17 of April, Llorenç’s home town of Torredembarra will host this beach soccer festival, fully sanctioned and co-organized by Beach Soccer Worldwide, and with the objective of fostering the beach soccer development amongst the younger players.
The venue for the competition is not alien for the beach soccer fans and players, as the Platja de la Paella is the place where that hosted the Euro Beach Soccer League events some years ago, and it is also the place the Torredembarra international players train at.
Registration are already open, and they teams interested need to send an email to [email protected] and [email protected] (both) or can visit the Llorenç Gómez official website: www.llorencgomez.com.
The Registration must be completed no later than Sunday 13th of March 2022.
