Group A
Hungary win 5-4 against Georgia.
It was all to play for in the last match in Group A, as hosts Georgia faced Hungary.

There was only one goal separating the sides after the opening period as Georgia’s Partenadze added to his goal tally for the competition, to the delight of the home crowd.

Despite the bright start from the Georgians, Hungary made their way back into the match in the second period as a brace from Laczkó and a goal from Deak meant they held a two-goal advantage with one period to go.

Both teams were eager to clinch victory in the third period, as five goals were scored throughout. Partenadze secured his brace early in the period as Ivaniadze and Makharadze also scored for Georgia, whilst Kristof and Bocsev struck for the Hungarians.

Despite Georgia suffering a narrow defeat in the match, they had done enough to win Group A and be promoted into the Euro Beach Soccer League – Division A.

Group B
Lebanon win 6-4 against Saudi Arabia.
After both suffering defeat in their opening two fixtures, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon were desperate to clinch their first victories of the competition in their final group stage matches.

An early strike from Yakl gave the Saudi Arabians the advantage in the encounter, however, Lebanon were ones who had the lead as the period came to a close. Goals from Al Saleh, Sleiman and Mustafa ensured the Lebanese side held a 3-1 advantage after 12 minutes played.

Lebanon increased their lead in the second period as Kaddour fired home and Al Saleh netted his second to give their side a four-goal cushion over their opponents heading into the final phase of play.

Saudi Arabia attempted a late comeback in the match in the third period as they found the net on three occasions in the period, but it wasn’t enough as Michlib Matar also struck for Lebanon as they came out with a 6-4 win.

Ukraine win 5-2 against UAE.
The final match of Group B saw Ukraine and UAE take to the sand as the winner would be crowned the winners of the group, with both sides sitting on six points going into the match.

The Ukrainians broke the deadlock in the match as Potapov found the back of the net with over five and a half minutes played, but UAE turned the game on its head as Waleed and Ahmed Beshr hit the target.

The match took another turn in the second phase of play, as Voitenko, Shchytnik and Voitok made the score 4-2 after 24 minutes had been played between the two teams.

The third and final period saw Ukraine add another goal to their tally as Levchenko got him name on the scoresheet, with Ukraine claiming top spot in Group B with nine points to their name.
