Portugal to host Estonia as Spain receive France in top class international fixtures in Sesimbra and Benidorm
As the beginning of the European season approaches, the national teams of the Old Continent are gearing up their training programs, pushing to make sure they begin the competitions in the best shape.
One of those teams is Estonia who were promoted to Division A last season, beating Turkey in the Promotion Final. The new boys in Europe’s top division will face their biggest challenges so far, and taking on the defending European champions in Sesimbra will be an ideal way to prepare.
The two friendly matches will take place on 15 and 16 March, and will be broadcasted live on Canal 11 in Portugal.
Portugal have been holding regular training camps in recent months and will also relish the idea of competitive preparation for the season, while Estonia, with their new indoor facilities, have been training hard too.
Both sides will already be in an advanced state of preparation going into the friendlies, and the matches will no doubt prove to be entertaining and high-level beach soccer.
A couple of days later, La Roja will meet Les Bleus, as the sides make the most of the build up to the 2022 season with competitive training.
Two friendly games will take place on 17 and 19 March on the Spanish coast of Benidorm, Alicante.
